???

I had a pretty good day today UNTIL...

I went to Publix and the high school guy who rang up my groceries commented on my FSU hat and t shirt and said,

"I like your hat and your shirt. Did your son or daughter go there?"

WHAT????

I walked out of Publix feeling a little like this...

But then, when I got thinking about it, that kid was a year old when I graduated from high school. Yep, it's official. I am a dinosaur.

Romancing the Bird

Matt wanted to cook the turkey this year since we were staying home for Thanksgiving, and for the past few weeks he has been carefully studying a particular recipe that he had used a few Thanksgiving past. After much preparation, and a couple of late night trips downstairs to tend to the bird, it made it to my parents' house and into the oven. It was del.ic.ious!!!! Yesterday was pretty much about the food...

cinnamon rolls for breakfast, yum!

turkey, casserole after casserole, apple and pumpkin pie

and family....

and silly turkey hats.

We hope you all had a great thanksgiving day!

Time with family

Happy Birthday Livi!

Her mommy always did want her very own unicorn.

Before...

after...

and in between.

My little lovey Livi turned one on Saturday, and we celebrated the big day with a pinkalicious princess party. She is such a big girl and sooo cute!

Big Pimpin'

I don't know who randa clay is, but I do want to update my blog site and add fun stuff to it like my favorite songs or a running reading list or whatnot, but I'm tired and I don't speak computerese. So I'm going to bed and maybe I'll fight with my computer tomorrow.

Cowboy and Octopus

Have you ever wanted to travel the world in one minute? Well, now's your chance! Do some mad traveling with Cowboy and Octopus! (I love Jon Scieszka's books as much as the next gal, but wow. I'm a little speechless... I think I'll stick with his earlier works, like the Stinky Cheese Man.)

If you're intrigued, visit this blog. You have to watch the Cowboy and Octopus Travel to You Tube trailer. (And make sure to click on the post where cowboy and octopus are in Miami-before they hit the clubs.)
