The House of Sick

Mono, a broken wrist, a perpetually stuffy nose and nasal issues, now this. The big S.

Scarlet Fever. Isn't that a "dated affliction" as my aunt called it? It's really just strep throat with a rash and a fever. (But Ethan always does it up good, so he added an ear infection to his tab.) He was a real bear last week, and for good reason! Poor thing. So I lived in fear the last half of the week wondering if I would wear the scarlet letter too. But I was spared the rash and only got the "razors in the throat" part. Such lovely conversation, huh? And at this point you're wondering why you read my blog? But currently we are full of drugs and look at me! We're germ free! Today is Ethan's birthday, (the b-day post will follow this one)and we were going to have a family party for him and celebrate with the neighbors but we postponed everything until next week. The Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream definitely helped both of our throats (and Matt's and Kenzie's and ZsaZsa's and Pops'...)
